About Jaunt Coffee Roasters
Jaunt Coffee Roasters, founded in San Diego in 2018, was created around the belief that coffee should be a thoughtful experience rather than a mindless necessity. Founder Jimmy Silva developed his coffee background starting in 2014 and spent time traveling and working on coffee farms in Peru, and later built relationships with producers in Mexico and Colombia. Those experiences shaped Jaunt’s emphasis on ethically sourced beans, careful roasting, sustainability, and educating customers about the journey from seed to cup and the labor involved.
