About Flying Roasters
Flying Roasters is a Berlin roastery that aims to unite social commitment with quality. They quote Adorno about living the right life in the wrong one and try to embody that through coffee. They source green coffee directly from cooperatives without intermediaries so they can ensure that working conditions meet their expectations from cultivation through roasting in Berlin. Their direct trade model pays producers a guaranteed minimum price and works only with small, democratically organised cooperatives. They joined the Roasters United collective to share knowledge and import costs and to support sustainable structures. The roastery also hosts cafes and workshops in Berlin to share their passion for high‑quality coffee.
