Ethiopia Natural Kembata Durame Village

This lot comes from the highlands surrounding Durame, a town nestled in Ethiopia’s Kembata Zone, part of the diverse and fertile Southern Nations region. Known for its cooler climate, rich volcanic soil, and dense biodiversity, the area provides ideal conditions for slow, even cherry development. Produced by smallholder farmers using traditional methods, the coffee is naturally processed—dried with the cherry intact—to bring out deep fruit notes and a round, sweet body. Expect flavors of ripe blueberry, soft stone fruit, and a jammy finish. A bright, clean, and expressive cup—equally enjoyable black or with milk, as filter or espresso.
