Doubleshot

After spending 2009 working on coffee farms in Panama and El Salvador and learning at 49th Parallel in Canada, founders Jaroslav Tuček, Kamila Sotonová and Jarda Hrstka launched Doubleshot in 2010 to bring specialty coffee to the Czech Republic. They established direct‑trade relationships with farmers and still source most coffees personally, roasting fresh daily just outside Prague. The company has grown into a multifaceted coffee project, with a roastery producing about 12 tons per month, four cafés in Prague (Můj šálek kávy, Místo and two LOKA espresso bars), a training centre and a bakery called Sladké. Doubleshot remains committed to transparency, sustainability and quality, investing in equipment like a SOVDA color sorter to fine‑tune roasting and sharing coffee knowledge through courses and community events.
