San Jose was purchased by Erwin Mierisch in 2003 after a soil analysis revealed its untapped potential. The farm supports a wide range of coffee varieties, including Gesha, Pacamara, and Caturra. This Gesha was processed as a full natural, with cherries dried on plastic tarps and then shaded for flavor development.
