About Copper Door Coffee Roasters
Copper Door Coffee Roasters was founded in 2006 by Sinjin Eberle as a wholesale roaster operating out of a garage. In 2014, Hannah Ulbrich purchased the business and became Denver's only 100% female-owned roaster. She expanded the company beyond wholesale, turning it into a community-focused brand while maintaining the ethos of tradition and craftsmanship. The mission of Copper Door is to provide fresh roasted coffee that reflects techniques practiced around the world for hundreds of years, using honest American-made equipment to roast just 8 pounds at a time and roasting only after orders are placed to ensure peak freshness. Under Ulbrich's leadership the company has grown into multiple cafés across the Denver metro area — including locations at the Denver Botanic Gardens, Park Hill, Lowry and Aspen Grove — and offers classes, subscriptions and wholesale options. As Denver’s only woman-owned roaster, Copper Door champions inclusivity and community, supporting local causes and providing spaces where customers can enjoy craft coffee and pastries while learning about the art of roasting.
