Common Man Coffee Roasters was established in Singapore in 2013 to champion specialty coffee in Asia. The brand began with a flagship café and roastery on Martin Road and quickly grew into a multifaceted business comprising a roastery, café chain, barista academy and wholesale supply division. Its mission is to elevate specialty coffee by sourcing sustainably, roasting with respect and supporting growers, millers and exporters at origin. CMCR operates multiple cafés across Singapore — from Martin Road and Stanley Street to Joo Chiat Road, Sentosa and Alexandra Road — as well as ventures in Malaysia and the Philippines. The company runs a barista academy to train enthusiasts and professionals, and its cafés are known for all‑day brunch menus, natural wines and a commitment to quality service.
