About Coffee Project
Coffee Project NY began as a passion project by co-founders Chi Sum Ngai and Kaleena Teoh to create a community-centric coffee experience. The company is dedicated to improving the quality of life for everyone in the coffee supply chain and sources high grade, sustainably produced coffees, many from small cooperatives and family farms. Ngai, a certified Q grader and roasting championship competitor, oversees the roasting program while Teoh directs education at their SCA-certified training campus. The company operates a roastery and several cafés across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, offering classes, events and scholarships to nurture coffee professionals and enthusiasts.
