About Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters
Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters was founded in 2008 by husband ‑ wife team Andy and Edie Baker. Named after a New Zealand confection given as thanks, the brand reflects their Kiwi roots and commitment to community. They opened their first coffeehouse in downtown Sacramento and have since grown to multiple locations. The Bakers and their team travel to origin countries such as Guatemala, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras and El Salvador to build relationships with farmers and source high‑quality beans. They roast in small batches to maintain intrinsic flavours and have won multiple awards, including Golden Bean North America honours and recognition as a Roast Magazine Roaster of the Year finalist.
