About camellia coffee roasters
Camellia Coffee Roasters was founded in 2016 by Ryan Harden and Rob Watson from deep local coffee experience. They began as a small wholesale roastery serving local businesses, then expanded into a cafe presence (initially at WAL Public Market) and weathered the pandemic by staying open for to-go service. In fall 2022 they moved into and converted a former Starbucks location on R Street, bringing their roastery and cafe together to scale wholesale and retail operations while remaining rooted in Sacramento pride and the city’s camellia heritage.
