Café Con Jiribilla
Café con Jiribilla is a Mexico City–based specialty coffee roaster founded by Yarismeth Barrientos and Carlos De la Torre. Since 2017 they focus on direct trade with small Mexican producers, promote Mexican coffee domestically and abroad, and have earned national championships and the L.A. Coffee Masters title.
About Café Con Jiribilla
The founders have over a decade in specialty coffee; since 2017 Café con Jiribilla became their main project. They aim to: 1) see their position as roasters in a producing country as an opportunity to trade directly with small producers, paying fair prices above local and international rates; 2) promote Mexican coffee inside and outside Mexico, seeking quality in the cup and the lives of everyone in the value chain — their commitment has earned national championships, a semi‑final at the CMB and the L.A. Coffee Masters title; and 3) share happiness through roasted coffee as a family project, emphasizing transparency and reducing distances between actors. They want to put a piece of Mexico into customers' hands.
