About Brooklyn Roasting Company

Brooklyn Roasting Company was founded in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in 2009 with the goal of providing New York City with the best quality, sustainably sourced coffees roasted to perfection and presented unpretentiously. Today it is one of the city’s leading homegrown roasters, supplying hundreds of high-end wholesale accounts across the five boroughs and operating a handful of cafés. Headquartered in the historic Building 123 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, the company’s state-of-the-art facility houses roasting, packing and quality control operations. Building 123, built in 1899 and the yard’s first LEED-certified building, reflects the roaster’s sustainability commitments: tin steel cans and recyclable delivery totes, fuel‑efficient Loring roasters and green coffee sourcing that is transparent and predominantly Fair Trade.
