About Broadsheet Coffee Roasters
Broadsheet Coffee Roasters was founded in 2017 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, by former banker Aaron MacDougall. After years abroad and a deepening love for coffee in Hawaii, he returned to his hometown and opened Cambridge’s first specialty coffee roastery and café just behind Harvard Yard. Working with conscientious producers and importers, Broadsheet sources exceptional beans from places like Ethiopia, Peru and Guatemala and roasts them on a Loring roaster to accentuate sweetness, balance and ease of brewing. The team continually refines its roasting and extraction skills through competitions, and operates a state‑of‑the‑art roasting and training facility in Somerville. Their Kirkland Street café offers freshly roasted coffee, baked goods and education to the community.
