About Broadcast Coffee
Barry Faught grew up in Idaho; his father Bill Bailey was a radio DJ, which inspired the Broadcast name. After moving to Seattle, Barry turned a cafe habit into a business and opened the first Broadcast Coffee in 2008 on Yesler and 20th. The company focuses on hospitality, inclusivity, and relationships with coffee producers, sourcing boutique coffees equitably and roasting for balance and consistency. Today Broadcast operates multiple cafes, a bakery partnership, and a roasting/fulfillment operation with a small but growing team.
