About Bellingham Coffee Roasters

Founded in 2006 by Emma and Fernando Torres, Bellingham Coffee Roasters is a family‑owned micro‑roaster with Colombian roots. Their small team roasts specialty coffee in Bellingham, Washington, focusing on 100 % Arabica beans that are Fair Trade certified and often USDA‑organic. They began by sourcing green coffee directly and roasting it by hand, bringing their heritage and passion to the Pacific Northwest. The roaster’s mission is to build relationships with farmers and customers, ensuring traceability and fair compensation. They hand‑craft each batch in their Bellingham facility and offer unique blends such as HomeBrew and barrel‑aged coffees. Their beans are available online and at local markets like the Bellingham Farmers Market, where they serve the community with freshly brewed coffee.
