About Bean Shot
Bean Shot Coffee was founded in 2013 by Australian entrepreneur and self‑confessed coffee nerd Nick Law after he moved to the UK and wanted to share the quality and aesthetics of Australian café culture. Starting as a wholesale roastery in Bruton, Somerset, the business quickly gained a following for its freshly roasted specialty coffee and soon opened a coffee bar in nearby Sherborne. The company’s team of professionals ethically sources high‑quality beans from around the world, building lasting relationships with growers, producers and co‑operatives. They roast daily to highlight each coffee’s unique characteristics and provide barista training, brew guides and subscriptions for home customers. A rebrand in 2022 introduced distinctive droplet icons to convey flavour notes and reflect their commitment to quality and accessibility.
