The Mushonyi washing station is located just a kilometer from Lake Kivu. The 1200 farmers who deliver cherries to this station live and farm on the hills surrounding Mushonyi. The altitude ranges from 1600 to 1950 meters above sea level. After sorting, the cherries undergo a fermentation process in concrete tanks. All sales of this lot contribute to the Beyond Flagship project, supporting Rwandan coffee-growing families.
