About April
Founded in 2016 by Swedish roaster Patrik Rolf, April Coffee Roastery is rooted in Copenhagen with a vision to progress the way coffee is roasted. Inspired by seasonality, sustainability and Nordic design, they produce small, quality‑focused batches and invest in research and development to perfect their roast profiles. Rolf, a former World Barista Championship finalist, leads April’s roastery at The Factory RoastLAB on Refshalevej 163A, where they roast and ship worldwide. The company also operates a store concept in Copenhagen, offering brewed coffee and retail beans, and shares brewing knowledge through podcasts and educational content. Their mission is to reclaim coffee flavour and inspire baristas and home brewers alike.
