A Colombian coffee from Proyecto Renacer farm, used to empower local youth. A unique process involving 120 hours of fermentation in open tanks, then 50 hours post-depulping before washing.

This limited blend, created in collaboration with Chops, Inc., features notes of honey graham crackers and dark chocolate using Mexican and Colombian Washed coffees. Suke Quto farm and wet mill began in 2005 in Southern Ethiopia's Guji Zone, where 150 outgrowers deliver coffee to owner Tesfaye. In addition to managing the mill, Tesfaye distributes seedlings for replanting in the forest. We are excited to offer three Suke Quto coffee variations.

ETHIOPIA // WASHED SUKE QUTO

Bear Hug is a sweet blend providing a syrupy chocolate taste. Developed for espresso, it also delivers a full-bodied coffee experience. The espresso shots from Bear Hug pull around 28-32 seconds using 19.5 grams of grounds to achieve 32-36 grams of liquid espresso.

BEAR HUG ESPRESSO

This coffee is named El Meridiano after a remote mountain lake in Tolima, Colombia. It's part of a selection by the ASOCEAS association comprised of 58 producers. It has been a favorite since 2011, tastes of melon sweetness and panela sugar, and is certified Organic.

Named after the Zamboni ice resurfacer, this blend is designed for a smooth and delicious cold brew experience. It's sourced and roasted specifically for cold brew preparation and available in multiple bag sizes. To best enjoy, steep one 12oz bag in 7 cups of cold water in the fridge for 12-14 hours, then dilute with cold filtered water.

Reko Onancho is a coffee community in Ethiopia using coffee cherries processed at Adorsi washing station. This variety is a mix of Kurume and other mixed heirloom varieties grown at high altitudes which provides a beautiful floral aroma.

Businde station processes coffee cherries from up to 650 local farming families. Producers received a premium that was 20% above the local market rate. The station also pays its staff almost 60% above the casual labor rate in Burundi. They distribute compost as fertilizer to farmers and donate seedlings. The 'Special Special' label denotes rarity or unique processing.

BURUNDI // BUSINDE ANAEROBIC SPECIAL SPECIAL

Coffee from Flores Island, Indonesia, grown in altitudes between 1000-1300 masl. Flores specialty coffee is typically from the Manggarai region and grown above 1400 masl. Commonly found varieties are Kartika and Yellow Caturra, processed mainly using the wet-hulled method, although a shift towards higher-quality processes is occurring.

FLORES // TUANG COFFEE

This cold brew offers a velvety, chocolatey taste with a more relaxed caffeine kick compared to Zamboni. It's specially sourced and roasted for cold brewing. Available in various bag sizes and as a subscription.
