Imani Natural is sourced from the historic John Reuben Estate in Kiambu county, Kenya. Inherited by the Mbugua family in 1967, it is currently managed by Derek Mbugua. His cousin Francis Kungu revitalized the coffee production, leading to this exceptional natural-process coffee.

Organized under Café Brisa Serena, they've improved quality with guidance from the aid organization Peace Winds Japan. Communal Shamba, founded by Keremba Warioba in Tanzania in 2017, processes this Washed Peaberry coffee at Umoja farm.
